Day trip to Sylt — Westerland

🏝️ By train across the Hindenburgdamm to Sylt — the causeway where the railway runs right through the Wadden Sea. Wandered Westerland’s Friedrichstraße, then out to the sea promenade: North Sea wind, whitecaps and seagulls. Phima read the whole train ride home; the day ended with pink clouds over the meadow behind the house.
